This Is So Not Fair!
I was reading on the CNN website about a high schooler who was suspended for 3 days because he wouldn't hang up his cell phone because he was taking a call from his Mom, who is serving in Iraq. Give the kid a break! If I was not going to be able to see my Mom for 1 year, I'd be pissed if someone was trying to keep me from talking to her!

After reading the new reports on this incident, I have to side with the school's decision in this case. This is a school near a military base and they have made exceptions to students in the past due to the fact many of them them have parents serving overseas. This student had NO right right to become combatant when all he had to say was that he was on the phone to his mother in Iraq. He got exactly what he deserved.
