In first grade or whenever they started teaching us reading, the teacher gave us reading workbooks. We were supposed to read maybe 1 or 2 pages at a time, but being the interested person I was, I read the whole thing in one day! The teacher was both impressed and unimpressed at the same time, sending home a note saying “Slow him down”. Even back then I loved to read……
