If you’re an American, you should be proud of how the legal system worked today.  Evidence was introduced, witnesses examined and cross-examined, and in the end the jury did their duty and returned a verdict. No matter if you’re a Trump fan or not, this was a good day for justice: it worked as it was designed to!

Unequal Treatment?

Why is Colin Kaepernick being blackballed by  the NFL for being against police brutality against black people, yet Harrison Butker  gets a pass for giving a speech bashing abortion, LGBTQ people, birth control, IVF, working women, and putting in an anti-semetic jab? He has a certain teammate whose highly successful girlfriend might have an objection to his rantings.

Going To Extreme Measures

Over the years, as you all may know, I’ve been fighting my weight.  One of the options that I’ve looked into is weight loss surgery. You’d think that I’d disregard that, seeing that I went through maybe 15  surgeries before I was 10 years old.  But, nothing should be off the table.  I’ve read about all sorts of problems that people having the surgery went through, and It’s not worth it, in my opinion, at least for me. So, back to the drawing board, diets have not helped so any ideas are welcome!
