My Baltimore Orioles's signing of Pete Alonso has got to be the best free agant signing of all time, no matter what sport. Even though we aren't going to make the playoffs this year, Pete hasn't thrown in the towel. with 41 homers, 110 RBI, Gold Glove caliber defense at first base, and bringing great leadership into the clubhouse. Even though there's a chance the O's will finish with a losing record for the second year in a row, I'm getting 2022 vibes. The 2022 team finished 83-79, just out of the wildcard hunt. But in 2023, we went 101-61 and won the AL East, then in 24 went 91-71 and were a wild card. So next year, can the cycle repeat itself?
