My Washington Capitals begin the new season this week, in what could be Alex Ovechkin’s final season, after 20 years and becoming the NHL’s all time leading goal scorer. The Caps look loaded for one more run at the Cup before Ovi packs it in. In addition to Ovi, Dylan Strome, Tom Wilson, Alexi Protas, Ryan Leonard, and Justin Soiurdif all capable of scoring 30 goals, and Jakob Chychryn and Cole Hutson manning the blue line and Logan Thompson and Charlie Lindgren between the pipes, they also added big time goal scorers Alex Tuch, Jordan Kyrou, and Boone Jenner. This team might be better than the one  that won it all in 2018!

The Best Free Agent Signing Of All Time In Any Sport?

 My Baltimore Orioles's signing of Pete Alonso has got to be the best free agant signing of all time, no matter what sport. Even though we aren't going to make the playoffs  this year, Pete hasn't thrown in the towel. with 41 homers, 110 RBI,  Gold Glove caliber defense at first base, and bringing great leadership into the clubhouse. Even though there's a chance the O's will finish with a losing record for the second year in a row, I'm getting 2022 vibes. The 2022 team finished 83-79, just out of the wildcard hunt. But in 2023, we went 101-61 and won the AL East, then in 24 went 91-71 and were a wild card. So next year, can the cycle repeat itself?

One of his closest followers, the one who was the first to hear of the resurrection was a prostitute. God has infinite mercy. The extremists only think that applies to people who look like them, mainly straight whites. They consider immigrants to be beneath them, and claim to be pro-life, but will not support the poor and those in need, and consider the killing of innocent Palestinian children justified because they are of the “wrong” religion. I thank God that my church has not become like that. We give out food to those who need it, give school supplies to kids who need it, and go out and help with disaster relief in other areas of the state.  That it what a church should do, and what Jesus told us to do!
