Women are now about to be reduced to property status.  Rape victims will be forced to carry their rapists’ babies, Incest victims the same, pregnant women with medical emergencies that make carrying a baby life threatening will die, the right to use birth control, and on and on.  If I were a gay person wanting to marry their partner or have already married them,a woman of child baring age,  or minorities, I’d seriously consider leaving the US.  Never before has a constitutional right that had been held up by the Supreme court been overturned. 

The Man Just Can’t Catch A Break

It’s another injury filled season for Orioles lefty John Means.  After missing parts of the last 3 seasons with various shoulder and elbow injuiries, his elbow has finally blown out, requiring Tommy John Surgery.  He’ll miss the rest of this season and the bulk of 2023.  The guy can pitch when healthy, as shown by his 12 wins in 2019, and his no-hitter last year.  We’ll see how good he is after returning, the Orioles are off the a reasonable for them, but still losing record after the first month, and another lefty, Bruce Zimmermann, has gotten of to a Means like start, and looks like he has a bright future.

I feel sorry for the people of Georgia, Florida, Colorado, and North Carolina  who have brought to Congress idiots such as Marjorie Taylor Greene, Matt Gaetz, Lauren Boehbert, and Madison Cawthorn.  They have done nothing but stir up hatred and conspiracy theories, and probably participated in January 6.
