That being said, he didn’t deserve to be gunned down either.  I don’t know if we can ever get back to political parties being able to agree to disagree.  Differences of opinion should not result in violence. And let us not forget  about former Minnesota House speaker Melissa Hortman, her husband, and their dog, who were victims of a political based murder a few months back.

A Confession

I’ve told you all about how bad it was in school, how I was bullied all the time because of my weight.  But what I didn’t tell you was that it got so bad at times that I wanted  to end it all.  The pain and humiliation was so bad I just wanted to kill myself.  I felt like no one, not my teachers, not the school administration, not even my parents cared about me, and that everyone would be better off if I ceased to exist.  Thankfully, I never went through with my plans.  If you’re in the same situation, don;t give up.  Keep looking until you find someone that will listen to you and take you seriously.
