Has got to be the Dodgers signing of Shohei Ohtani. The guy has hit 50 homers and swiped 50 bases, and will be playing in the postseason for the first time in his career. And wait until next season, when he will be able to pitch after not being able to this year due to elbow surgery. 700 million sounds like an insane amount, but it’s been worth it, and if the Dodgers win multiple World Series during the 10 years of his contract, no one will be complaining!
